Leaders, please note:
Badge Day Policy
• Fall/winter badge days will be held on Saturday mornings from
10:00-Noon at the SD Discovery Center, 805 W. Sioux Avenue in
Pierre. (Cadette badge day will go longer).
• Prepayment (credit card or check) is required for all Badge Days.
Leaders or parents must contact the Discovery Center (605-224-8295)
by noon on the Thursday prior to the Saturday Badge Day to
register. Registration is “first-come, first-served” basis. Class
sizes are limited so register early.
• If you need to make a change to the number of registrants or
cancel your troop, you must do so by noon on the Friday prior to the
badge day. Badge day credit, not a refund, will be given for any
cancelled reservations.
• Cost for each badge day is $9 (includes tax). United Way Booster
funds may be available to girls in the Pierre/Ft. Pierre troops.
Please ask.
• Most programs are set up in stations and leaders or parents may be
asked to stay to help.
• Scouts will receive their badges the day of the activity or badges
will be sent to leaders within two weeks of the badge day.
• Class Minimum—5 girls
