Kids in the Kitchen This awesome new workshop welcomes both boys and girls to have some hands-on, up-to-your-elbows fun while learning important cooking skills.  We will spend our first class learning the basic use of kitchen tools while preparing a snack. Equipment safety will be stressed. Our second and third meetings will allow participants to get down to some real cooking…..and eating, as well. Chemistry, math and physics will all be part of the mix. Each participant will receive a “Kids in the Kitchen” apron to take home. Fix Your Ride Wouldn’t it be great if your child could repair his own flat tire? Check the breaks? Adjust the seat? Maybe even put the chain back on? Boys and girls are invited to learn all about how to care for their bikes in this fun workshop. Adult bike enthusiasts will be on hand to offer their expertise and help with adjustments. A safety check and registration by local law enforcement will be included. Parents are invited (but not required) to attend at no additional cost.
